Refund policy
We want you to love everything you order from Mi Amor Salsas. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
For salsa jars (food products):

Jars must be unopened, sealed, and in their original packaging to be returned as a change-of-mind return.

Due to food safety and hygiene reasons, opened jars cannot be returned or resold.

The only exception for opened jars is where there is a genuine quality or safety issue (for example: spoiled product, packaging defect, incorrect product inside the jar). In these cases, we will ask for photo/video proof and details (batch number, best-before date) so we can investigate and make it right.
For tote bags and other non-food items:

Items must be unused, in their original condition, with any tags/labels still attached and in their original packaging.
For all returns, you’ll need your receipt or proof of purchase.
3. How to Start a Return
To start a return, please contact us at hola@miamorsalsas.com with:

For salsa quality issues: clear photos of the product, packaging, and any issue you’re reporting
Once your return is approved, we’ll provide:

The return address (currently: [INSERT RETURN ADDRESS])

A return shipping label (where applicable)

Instructions on how and where to send your package
Items sent back to us without first contacting us and receiving approval will not be accepted.

4. Damages, Breakages & Quality Issues
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us as quickly as possible if:

Your jars arrive broken or leaking

You receive the wrong item

There appears to be a quality, safety, or spoilage issue with a salsa
Email hola@miamorsalsas.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. Once we’ve reviewed the issue, we’ll work with you to replace the item or issue a refund.
5. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally non-returnable:

Opened salsa jars, unless there is a verified quality or safety issue

Perishable food products that are past the return window or not stored correctly

Custom or personalised items (if applicable in future)

Sale items or discounted items (unless faulty or damaged)

Gift cards

6. Exchanges
If you’d like a different item (for example, a different tote bag design), the quickest way is:

Request a return for the original item.

Once your return is accepted and processed, place a new order for the item you prefer.
7. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is being shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification.
To use this right:

For tote bags: unused, with tags, in original packaging

For salsa jars: unopened, sealed, and in original packaging
Items must be in the same condition that you received them:

You’ll need your receipt or proof of purchase.
Please note:
This 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to food products that have been opened/unsealed, for hygiene and safety reasons.
8. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know whether your refund has been approved.
If approved:

A refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Remember, your bank or card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you still haven’t received it, please contact us at hola@miamorsalsas.com.
